Upper Arlington Crew is proud to bring the second annual Blake Haxton Fall Invitational Regatta to Columbus on Saturday, October 29, 2011. The Haxton Invitational will again feature some of the fastest crews in the rowing community to compete on the waters of the Scioto River at Griggs reservoir. This regatta attracts teams from all over the state of Ohio, as well as from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri and Pennsylvania.

The Haxton Invitational honors the athletic tenure of UA Crew’s own Blake Haxton, a true competitor, gifted athlete and former Captain on the UA Boys team. The Haxton Invitational is in his honor, and at Blake and the Haxton family’s request, all proceeds from the event will go toward the UA Crew Scholarship Fund.

Upper Arlington Crew is asking for your help to make this event a success by becoming a sponsor of the event though our Community Giving Program. We have expanded our sponsorship program this year with the hopes of including more opportunities for the community to get involved and learn more about rowing and the UA Crew program.
